Scuba Diving in Keyolhu Faru
Location: Southeast of Hadahaa
This reef consists of one large pinnacle connected to a smaller pinnacle. Depths range from 2 – 30 meters, with a sloping sandy patch from 7 – 30 meters.
Coral life: Strong and healthy with a variety of hard coral species and rare black corals.
Marine life: Many white tip and black tip reef sharks, critically endangered hawksbill turtles, lionfish, and nudibranchs are commonly spotted. There are also the possibilities to see eagle rays.
Dive technique: There is no specific technique, however, it is advised to jump in down current and simply drift along the outside to ensure a nice easy dive.
